Ever since it was founded in Dallas, Texas in 1937, the Cotton Bowl has signified excitement and novelty. From that audacious moment in 1954 when Alabama's Tommy Lewis leaped from the bench to tackle Rice's Dickey Moegle (an outrageous move which saw referee Cliff Shaw award a touchdown, even though Maegle had been decked at the 42 yard line), to the breathtaking 1970 clash between Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Texas Longhorns, when Notre Dame led 17-14 late in the fourth quarter, only for the Longhorns to score a touchdown, clawing their way to a 21-17 victory and a national championship, the occasion has shone like a beacon in the college football world.

Tickets are flying out the door already for this year's New Year's Day game!
The Cotton Bowl Athletic Association announced record ticket sales following the conclusion of the early purchase ticket discount program that ended in July.
For this reason I created this site to help others that are in need of tickets to see their favorite Big 12 South team take over the house that Doak built.
The best site to still find tickets at great prices for the Cotton Bowl is TicketLiquidator.com.
I have also looked at Hailstorm.com. It's an alternative place to find low priced tickets and great seats when everything else sells out.

What's up with The Cotton Bowl Dome?

So, are we getting a dome, or what!!??
Now that the project just has no end date, it seems the house that Doak built may never be topped...literally.
They raised a bunch of money like almost a decade ago, and it just seemed to disappear. Talk hasn't been sufacing much lately, it's probably a moot point by now. But at least we have that beautiful natural grass.
Maybe if the Red River Shootout gets even bigger, or if we can get a major tenant they'll pay more attention. One can only hope..
